For 2009: Into the Woods May 1^st-10^th at Alderny Landing

December 2008 - It's that time of year again. The Saints Alive! Theatre Society is holding auditions for Into the Woods. The show is scheduled to run at the Alderny Landing Theatre on the Dartmouth waterfront from May 1st - 10th 2009.

If you are intereest in a role, here's what you need to know:

1. Book a 5 minute audition time by emailing Laura Thornton at laura.c.thornton@gmail.com.
2. For the audition, prepare part of a Stephen Sondheim song no longer then one minute. We prefer that you do one verse/bridge and one refraim which demonstrates a voice rand and character. Plan to sing capella.
3. Prepare a monologue no longer than one minute.
4. Have a head shot available for use in promotional materials should you be asked to take a role in the show.
5. Bring along a talent resume if you have one.
6. Note that we only plan auditions at the dates and times indicated.
7. Actors may not be ACTRA or EQUITY members, unless they have explicity writen consent from their unions.
8. You will be asked to move or learn some choreography at the call backs. Therefore wear theatre blacks, dance shoes and bring water.

Audition Times:

• Thursday January 15th: 6:00-9:30pm
• Thursday January 22nd (spillover auditions only): 6:00 - 7:00pm

Callbacks:

• Thursday January 22nd: 7:30-9:30pm

Other Important Things to Know

• If you are cast, you will be required to pay a $100.00 registration fee which will help to cover administration costs. Each actor will be encouraged to find sponsorships for this $100.00 in order to defer personal cost and to broaden our community based support.
  
  
• If you are not cast you are encouraged to become a member of the production team, as there are many roles to be filled behind the scenes. Remember if you commit to working on any project with SAINTS ALIVE! you will be expected to give the same amount of dedicated commitment your chosen tasks.

YOU MUST BOOK YOUR AUDITION TIME BY JANUARY 3, 2008.
